Perspective is everything. People are going to disappoint and hurt each other. It happens all the time. Most of the time whoever did the hurting isn’t even aware of it!! Here’s where perspective comes in. If we assume the best and give each other the benefit of the doubt, we would have a lot less hurt feelings in the world.

In my experience, if you hear both sides of the story, you realize neither person was just being mean. One thing that I know for sure, Jesus does not sit around hurt, angry, and thinking about what losers we are. He reigns and rules in grace and mercy!! If you want to reign and rule in life, get His perspective on everything!!!!! TC

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus accomplished our salvation completely. The only thing God asks of us is our yes and total surrender. We have to realize that we are surrendering to an all consuming fire. He wants it all, because He wants us to have it all.

When we surrender to Him, we say yes to giving up all our rights. Our right to bitterness, anger, fear, worry, stress control, and all the deeds of the flesh are in that line of fire! Here’s what’s crazy!! It’s not because He does not like us when we blow it, it’s because He hates what it does to us!!

Another Crazy thing is that He is an all consuming fire!! He will light up your entire being until You are consumed with Him and everything about Him. Yes, He burns away our earthly perspective on life, but He does it by setting us on fire for Him!!!

Scripture says that He is totally desirable. Totally!!! That means everything about Him!! All of His ways, thoughts, and dealings are really our true desire. We need to really recognize how much the enemy, who hates us, has tricked us into thinking that our way is better!!! The enemy is a thief and anytime that we choose the world’s perspective over our Father, we are being robbed of really experiencing life!!!! He came that we may have abundant life!! If that’s not your story, no matter what your life circumstance, then your being robbed. TC

Grace is amazing!!! Grace calls us into His presence regardless of our failures, because Jesus knows only grace can change us. God is completely secure with that. He is not looking for us to love Him back before He will continue to love us. He calls us forth into His love over and over again until we are totally captivated and in love with Him. What do lovers do? They love back out of passion and attraction, not fear of condemnation, rejection, and loss. Our God, the magnificent trinity, is wholly desirable, and none can compare to His beauty!!! TC

The Grace of God is more than astonishing!! The only words that I can up with are Thank You!!! I’m in awe at what He’s done for us!!! He is such a Holy God, and yet, I’m always on His mind!! We are always on His mind!! He, a perfect in every way God, took all my sin so that I could be with Him, because He wanted to be with me!! He’s removed the enmity between us and the Father!! We never have to fear rejection or abandonment again!! I’m eternally His!! The Grace of God has rocked every molecule of my being, and NO, It does not make me want to sin! Actually, it’s quite the opposite!! I’ve never known such desire to be conscious of His presence!! TC

Col.1:13 tells us that God delivered us from the dominion of darkness and has transferred us in the Kingdom of His Son. We now live under the dominion of Grace!! This is so amazing!! In a nutshell, I can now live without fear of mistakes! I can live without worrying about everything I say and trying to control every detail of my life!! I live in and under the dominion of Grace!! That means all my life, and all my circumstances, and all my decisions, and all my relationships are completely surrounded and immersed in Grace!! I can rest in the fact that my Father is making sure it’s all going to work out for my good!! TC

In God’s presence is fullness of joy and pleasures forever more!! That means when we press through to His presence, we find joy and pleasures that satisfy our soul!! It’s other than us. When you encounter His presence all you can see is His beauty. His beauty is His faithfulness, His acceptance, His love, His glory, His grace, His mercy, and kindness. You can’t help but be fixated on Him. When you are over shadowed by His presence, the world and all its pain, fear, anxiety, stress, anger, worry, rejection, bitterness, hurt, ,and every other burden are dethroned from reigning and ruling over your mind, will, and emotions by joy, peace, hope, happiness, courage, trust, and love!! His presence will literally transform your every emotion and perspective. This one thing I know, Jesus will draw you into His presence if you let Him!! He promises to be found!!! TC

My family and I are on the way to Orlando to meet my siblings for a small vacation. We decided to break the trip up into two parts, so we got a room in Lake City. Here’s the point of this post. We don’t know the area well, so we grabbed a cheap hotel. (Most of the hotels were around the same price. We did try to get a nicer one, but everything was full due to the Florida game). Anyway, we got to the hotel and I was really disappointed. It was just nasty, so I just started expressing my thoughts about the room. I was full-blown fussing and gagging. On the way to the room, we ran into this lady who was obviously poor and probably on drugs judging by the looks of her. I asked her if there was an elevator or just steps. She didn’t know, so I walked away complaining about how nasty it was. Literally, I would not walk on the carpet without my socks. I finally just started manning up and apologizing to the Lord for complaining, but that didn’t teach me anything. It was just done methodically. As I lay in bed talking to the Lord, I began seeing the lady’s face, and my heart started breaking. I thought oh my gosh!! I think I’m too good for her. I just started weeping in my heart hoping she did not hear me complaining. Not for my sake, but for hers. I had a chance to be so sweet and love her, but instead, I was acting like I was too good for that place. I finally fell asleep, and when I woke up the Lord began speaking to me about His birth. He was born in a nasty, dirty, and smelly stall!! It wasn’t like he didn’t have a choice. He chose that place to be born. Why? One reason is that He loves that woman with an intensity I can’t understand. I can only be shown. There is not a depth that He will not travel to find us. I’m posting this because I’m in absolute awe at His depth of love for us!! He chose a hotel like the one I stayed at last night on purpose for me!!! He is not too good for us. He loves us in our brokenness and will stop at nothing to have us!!! I think also He chose that birth to show us that we are not too good for it!!! There is no one richer or more glorious or classier than He!! Let’s get over ourselves and love each other as He does.

If the Lord would leave Glory and go to such a lowly place for me, of course, He is still doing that today through us!! We should not only be looking but expecting to be sent to lowly places!! Actually, it’s only lowly if you can’t see His presence there!! Anywhere Jesus is present is Glorious.

I want to add something cool. I was never down on myself. Instead, I was just blown away by His love for us, and it radically changed my heart and perspective on staying there!! That’s Grace!! Law would have done nothing but make me feel bad, and zero change would have taken place!! My heart was broken in a glorious way!!! All I can think about now is how glorious and beautiful Jesus is!!! That’s Grace!!

God is not needy!!! He does not pursue me so that He can be happy. God does not need us. He wants us!! Pure love drove Him to pursue us!!! He wants us to be happy. Ps.16:11 says that in His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forever more. He dwells in an atmosphere of pure joy and pleasure. He already lives in abundant life. He came so we could have abundant life full of glory and joy unspeakable. There is an awareness of His presence that will bring you such pleasure that nothing earthy will compete with your affection, and all you will want is to experience more of Him.

There is nothing that Jesus has called us to that He is not fully prepared to do through us!! All Jesus wants from us is surrender. He did not come to cheer us on. He came to literally live His life through us. It’s His life, His power, His might. It’s always all about Him! When we are weak, then we are strong.
